About

About Garwood Arena

Originally built to be Garwood Cattle Company’s calving barn on 200 acres in Columbiana, the space has evolved to become one of Ohio’s premier equestrian and rodeo arenas.

Sanctioned by the American Professional Rodeo Association, our rodeo is an action-packed, family-friendly show—offering a truly authentic Western experience. Watch bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding and barrel racing at the rodeos that come to town during the winter months. Children (under 50 pounds) can participate in mutton busting, and ride the sheep, before the show to experience what if feels like to be a rodeo star!

You can also watch different horse breeds and equestrian disciplines compete in our horse arena as numerous equestrian organizations, such as the Ohio Amateur Quarter Horse Association, New York Reined Cow Horse Association and Colorado-based Ranch Sorting National Championships, hold their events here year-round.

Spread over eight acres, the complex also includes a restaurant, the Garwood Grill, where you can grab a meal, snacks or ice cream while watching the show.
